Conference on museum anthropology to open in Beijing
Dozens of scholars and museum practitioners from China and abroad will discuss hot topics in museum development and anthropology at a conference to be held in Beijing this weekend.
The participants will touch upon topics ranging from exhibitions related to different ethnic groups, the re-shaping of tourism, museums and local cultures, exhibitions of religious or artistic objects, and community museums and ethnic identity.
Organized and held by the Chinese National Museum of Ethnology, the Museum Anthropology Conference 2019 will also publish 50 papers selected from those submitted in the past months.
