Exhibition shows new angle of Shanxi ancient wall paintings

An exhibition focusing on100 ancient wall paintings from Shanxi, called "See the treasures from a new angle", is being held at the Art Gallery of Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), in Beijing.

The exhibition consists of more than 300 photos which reveal the ancient wall paintings from the new angle of figure paintings in China. The photos are the work of Wu Puao, a member of China's Photographer's Association, whose efforts are also aimed at increasing awareness for the protection of Chinese ancient wall paintings.
