Archaeological yields from the Peking Man Site have been put on display in Beijing. It's a historical and cultural retrospective of the archaeological discovery.

Exhibitions and videos are part of the presentation, providing some background into the relics site. Archaeological yields from the past decades are also on display.

Zhoukoudian is located about 50 kilometers southwest of Beijing. All together, 27 localities have been excavated since 1927.

In 1929, paleontologist Pei Zhongwen found the first and almost complete skull cap of Peking Man.

2009 saw the greatest protection efforts of cleaning and excavation in the heritage site's 72-year history.
