Deputy Director Bai Yunxiang Gives Lectures in Hong Kong
Deputy Director of the CASS Institute of Archaeology Bai Yunxiang visited the City University of Hong Kong between July 6th and July 13th at the invitation of the university’s Chinese Civilization Centre.
During his week-long stay in Hong Kong, Professor Bai was invited to give three lectures at the university on the subjects of Qin and Han bronze ware, cultural exchange and foreign contacts during the Han Dynasty, and the recent excavation of General Cao Cao’s tomb and the controversy surrounding its discovery.
Over 120 City University students, faculty members and personnel from other cultural organizations attended the lectures and were full of praise for Professor Bai’s insights. (Translated by Kelly McGuire)
