More ancient rock engravings found in NW China

   Six pieces of rock engravings were newly discovered in Mount Helan,northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region recently, which contents including "the God of Sun",tiger,human faces etc..

   According to the statistics, there are 5000 pieces of rock engravings founded in Mount Helan.
rich in content and high in density. Human face is a special theme of rock arts, as it reflects the worship of ancient people towards deities, totem and some other divine beings. Embodied the wisdom of ancient China, rock engravings record various aspects of the history and lifestyle of ancient people. The Mount Helan rock culture has become a special name card of Ningxia.
