Archeologists explore relics in the Zhoukoudian Caves in a suburb of Beijing, capital of China, Aug. 8, 2011. A rescue excavation was launched in May in the Zhoukoudian Caves, where the skulls of "Peking Man," or Homo erectus, were found in the 1920s and 1930s. During this excavation, more than 400 stone products, over 700 specimen of animal bones and some relics bearing signs of ancient people's lives had been unearthed so far.
