Investigation of the Dashanzuizi Site in Tieling, Liaoning, Dated to the Bronze Age

【Abstract】 In 1994—1995,Tieling Municipal Museum did some investigating works in Dashanzuizi Site, Tieling. Many cultural relics such as some old stones, polished stones, ceramics and bronzes belong to three different date and type cultures were found here. This is one typical Bronze Culture dated to the Shang and Zhou to the Middle Period of Spring and Autumn with obvious local feature.
The Tang Dynasty Kiln Site in Wenhua Road,Chaoyang, Liaoning Chaoyang Municipal Museum

【Abstract】 In 2001,five Tang Dynasty Kilns were found in the courtyard of Liaoning Microorganism Research Institute in Wenhua Road, Chaoyang, Liaoning. Among them, one was used for baking ceramics, and the others were for bricks and tiles. These kilns with different scale and form were very important for studying Tang Dynasty Kilns and their building materials.
Statistics of the Liaodong Great Wall Fortress of Yan Kingdom Dated to the Qin and Han Periods

【Abstract】 In recent 30 years, many Great Wall sites including main military fortress, central administrative cities and attached supplying sites were found in Liaoning and Jilin Provinces and the Northwest of Korea. The amount is large enough to do some counting works for the Liaodong Great Wall Fortress of Yan Kingdom. Based on the statistics on the 1081 km Great Wall, three kinds of sites were found: 162 fortress,3 shorted-structure wall site, and 120 km long—structure wall site. Based on this, we may know something about the distribute of the Liaodong Great Wall Fortress of Yan Kingdom, its fortress type, designing rule, structure feature and historical period.
