Abstract:The buckle was classified into gold buckle, silver buckle and copper buckle lacquer ware in the ancient documents. But the research of coating process is insufficient.  It is analyzed by X-ray   fluorescence     (XRF),   X -diffraction     (XRD),   Fourier   transform   infrared   spectroscopy     (FTIR)   and   optical microscope  and  other instruments.  The  results  show  that   it  was  a  gold  buckle  coated  on  copper,  and  the  gold layer of the buckle surface was coated by amalgamation.
