About the Book
In 2009, the Anyang Working Team of the Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences conducted an excavation at Wangyukou Nandi, uncovering an area of over 9,000 square meters and obtaining rich cultural remains. Particularly significant was the discovery of the Zhenren (diviner) family cemetery represented by tombs M103 and M94, which provides the most direct materials for studying the origin and status of the Zhenren group during the Yinxu period. The comprehensive publication of these materials offers first-hand resources for scholars to consult data and conduct research on settlement layout, family cemeteries, and social structure. This achievement holds great academic significance for advancing the progress of Yinxu archaeology and Chinese archaeological research, as well as important practical value and realistic significance for developing Yinxu cultural resources, promoting the nation’s outstanding culture, and facilitating local economic development.
